Crown DCX-2-10 Direct Steam Freestanding Combo Steamer & Kettles 1-10 Gallon Capacity Kettle — 120V, 1PH

This line of Crown convection steamers features a tilting kettle on a modular boiler base that operates on direct steam. It is constructed with a stainless steel type 304 exterior and a #4 finish. The unit includes a deck-mounted faucet valve, a swing nozzle, and an integral sink with a standard drain.

The convection steamer has doors with removable inner liners made of stainless steel, an all-welded, one-piece outer shell, and a complete perimeter gasket seal. It also has a positive lock and seal mechanism, along with a stainless steel drip trough connected to the drain to collect condensate when the doors are opened. Each cooking chamber is constructed from fully insulated, all-welded type 316 stainless steel and comes with removable stainless steel pan supports.

The steamer controls are accessible through a fully removable side panel. Each compartment includes a 60-minute mechanical timer with ready and cooking pilot lights. The steam flow to the chamber will be interrupted when the compartment door is opened during the cooking cycle and will reactivate once the door is closed. An audible signal will sound at the end of the cooking cycle.

The cabinet base that houses the controls features a complete perimeter painted angle frame, reinforced mountings for the kettle and boiler, hinged doors with magnetic latches, and 6-inch (152 mm) stainless steel legs fitted with four adjustable flanged feet for securing the unit to the floor.
