Crown DCX-2-6-10 Direct Steam Freestanding Combo Steamer & Kettles 1-6 Gallon Capacity Kettle and 1-10 Gallon Capacity Kettle — 120V, 1PH

This Crown convection steamer features two tilting kettles mounted on a modular boiler base that operates on direct steam. It has a stainless steel type 304 exterior with a #4 finish, a deck-mounted faucet valve, a swing nozzle, and an integral sink with a standard drain.

The convection steamer is designed with doors that have a removable inner liner made of stainless steel, a full perimeter gasket seal, and an outer shell that is one piece, all welded stainless steel. It includes a positive lock and seal mechanism and a stainless steel drip trough that connects to the drain to collect condensate when the doors are opened. Each cooking chamber is constructed from all-welded type 316 stainless steel, fully insulated, and equipped with removable stainless steel pan supports.

The steamer controls are accessible through a fully removable side panel. Each compartment features a 60-minute mechanical timer, along with a ready and cooking pilot light. The system interrupts steam flow to the chamber when the compartment door is opened during the cooking cycle and reactivates the steam flow once the door is closed. An audible signal will sound at the end of the cooking cycle.

The cabinet base, which houses the controls, includes a complete perimeter painted angle frame, reinforced mountings for the kettle and boiler, hinged doors with a magnetic latch, and six 6-inch (152 mm) stainless steel legs fitted with four adjustable flanged feet for securing the unit to the floor.
