The ECT-6, ECT-10, and ECT-12 are exceptional self-generating electric tilting kettles, designed with a counter crank mechanism for user convenience. Featuring a robust double-wall construction, these kettles boast a steam jacket that extends over the lower two-thirds, effectively maintaining optimal temperature through a factory-sealed, distilled water enclosure. The hemispherical bottom design ensures superior heat circulation, promoting even cooking results.
Enclosed in a durable stainless steel housing, the controls and tilt mechanism are both well-protected and easily accessible. The kettles are mounted on a sturdy stainless steel rectangular base, with mounting lugs discreetly positioned inside the enclosure for a clean appearance.
The tilt mechanism showcases a permanently lubricated, self-contained gearbox that guarantees smooth, effortless operation, enabling one-handed tilting for maximum efficiency. Its self-locking feature secures the kettle at any angle, ensuring confidence during use.
Crafted from all-welded #4 finish stainless steel of type 304, these kettles also include a type 316 stainless steel interior cooking surface, providing unmatched resistance to corrosion and extending the lifespan of the equipment. Each kettle is ASME Code stamped, National Board Registered, c-CSA-us, and NSF certified, guaranteeing adherence to the highest industry standards.
The water-resistant, integrally mounted controls encompass a power switch, solid-state thermostat, pilot light, vacuum/pressure gauge, safety valve, and a low water shut-off with an indicator light. This array of features enhances user safety and simplifies operation.
