The EMTS-30, EMTS-40, and EMTS-60 tilt skillets are designed for high-performance cooking in demanding commercial kitchens. These units feature a spring-assisted, hinged stainless steel cover with a full-width handle, no-drip condensate guide, etched gallon markings, and a vent port with a swing cover, ensuring both functionality and durability. The pan has a sloped, front-hinged design for easy tilting and pour control, and it includes a removable pour strainer for added convenience. Constructed from 10-gauge 304 stainless steel with a #4 finish exterior and a polished interior, the pan also features coved corners that make cleaning a breeze.
Heating is achieved through electric elements that are cast into a thick 1-3/8β (35mm) aluminum casting bolted to the underside of the pan, ensuring even heat distribution across the cooking surface for consistent and precise cooking. The unit is mounted on a heavy-duty welded frame with 6β (152mm) stainless steel legs and flanged feet, making it easy to secure the skillet to the floor for stability. The sleek design is enclosed in #4 finished type 304 stainless steel, with removable side panels and two stainless steel front cabinet doors for easy access to controls.
The EMTS series offers precise temperature control, with cooking temperatures ranging from 160Β°F to 445Β°F (70Β°C - 230Β°C), allowing for flexibility in a variety of cooking applications. The hydraulic lift system, powered by a 1/2 HP electrical motor, ensures smooth and precise tilting action, making it easier to pour and handle ingredients. All the essential controls, including the temperature thermostat, temperature light, tilt switch, and high-limit thermostat, are mounted in the cabinet base for user-friendly operation and added safety.
