The SX-5G3 is a gas-fired convection steamer with a stainless steel steam generator and a 5-pan capacity. It is constructed with satin finish 304 stainless steel, and the cooking chamber is made from one-piece welded 316 stainless steel with coved corners. The heavy-duty door features a stainless steel inner liner with a full perimeter gasket seal, an outer welded stainless steel liner, and a positive lock and seal mechanism with spring release. The compartment includes removable stainless steel pan supports and a drip trough connected to the drain to collect condensate when the door is opened.

The control housing is made of stainless steel with a removable panel. Controls include an illuminated three-way power switch (On/Off/De-lime), pilot ready light, pilot cooking light, 60-minute timer with an audible alarm, solid-state generator controls, and electronic ignition. Steam flow is interrupted when the door is opened and reactivated when the door is closed.

Standard features include automatic generator blowdown, de-lime mode power setting, and a de-liming port on the right side panel for easy cleaning. The unit comes with split water connections for simple hookup to a water treatment system. The steamer is mounted on 4” high stainless steel adjustable legs.
