Product Details
The Southbend R24-3 and R24-5 are constructed with satin finish 304 stainless steel, featuring a one-piece welded 316 stainless steel cooking chamber with coved corners. The door has a removable inner liner of stainless steel, full perimeter gasket seal, and an outer liner of welded stainless steel with a positive lock and seal mechanism. Removable stainless steel pan supports and a drip trough collect condensate when the door is opened. The unit also features adjustable leveling feet.
The control housing is made of stainless steel with a removable access panel. Controls include an illuminated three-way power switch (On/Off/De-lime), pilot ready and cook lights, and a 60-minute electric timer with an audible alarm. Steam flow is automatically interrupted when the door is opened and reactivated when closed.
Additional features include a de-liming port for easy access to clean the generator tank, de-lime mode power setting, automatic blowdown valve, solid-state liquid level controls, and split water connections for easy hookup to a water treatment system.
The steamer can be mounted flush to the countertop or on optional 4” legs, and it can be stacked using a stacking kit.
